SAFETY ISSUES:
My site talks about most of the safety features that the latest generation cryo saunas have that appeal to the sale. When people have a question like why doesn't your cryosauna have this feature but the other company has it...... so most of the safety features are standard now on the 3rd gen cryosaunas unless they are some cheap knockoff being imported here that don't have real warranties and their specs are false.

So many clinics complain that their cryosaunas are breaking down. (see my other page of where someone sent in a picture of their cracked cryosauna cabin).

A good cryosauna should not have down times and defrost times like the earlier generation models had. The newest types on some of the higher end models defrost themselves out for 1.5 minutes after each session. Some of these cryosaunas are not capable of safely going down to to –320. There are many that do go that low but over time you can see what happens.

Also for safety for the patients, the latest generation models don't use lift pads. Many people now that are using cryosaunas for injuries find it hard to step off a 1 foot riser after their session...plus people also have to step down several steps and it can be hard to see them through all the cold air vapor. Also when not having an electronic lift, they cannot perfectly raise a client to where their head and neck are high enough to avoid passing out. There is also a dome like neck piece that goes over your head and make you feel claustrophobic and hard to escape if need be.

Note: for third generation cryosaunas one should never have liquid nitrogen accidentally sprayed on them. Having nitrogen sprayed on my skin is a really bad thing. I will never go in a direct spray type. But, so many clinics have these that didn't know how to research them their first time around.
