Whole Body Cooling (WBC) vs. Partial Body Cooling (PBC)
In nearly every conversation I get asked about the walk in coolers and if they are better than the nitrogen coolers. Some people like a less intense session and some people can handle the cryosaunas better. As far as which one to buy it depends on different things. The non-nitrogen whole body types are much cheaper to run and there is never any worry about ventilation problems or tank problems. The smallest whole body cryo chambers cost about 8 to 10 dollars per day to stay on the entire day. The larger ones cost about 40 to 50 dollars a day to keep it running. I only recommend the larger 4 person models if treating over 30 people a day.
The nitrogen types usually get the feet and lower body really colder. Most cryosaunas have the nitrogen come out near the feet. I prefer the types that have more even cooling that have the whirlpool vortex or ones that have even distribution.
