C1 Recovery Cryo Chamber / C4 Recovery 2 Stage Chamber
These do not use nitrogen unlike the cryosaunas. (Note: these do not cool the air indirectly with nitrogen either like the Artic that uses nitrogen but no nitrogen comes in contact with the body.
The electrical type like the C1 Recovery and the C4 Recovery have very low costs to run as it doesnt take 5+ dollars worth of nitrogen for every session. These are whole body cryochambers that get the head and neck that the cryosaunas that have nitrogen don't do. Many customers don't want to breath in nitrogen in a cryosauna and prefer this type. These are the most expensive of the cryochambers that cost around $150,000. Most of the other cryosaunas and cryochambers like the Artic cryo chamber that many people compare the all electrical type to only have enough room for one person. They are also about half the price. Some people like to go in a C1 Recovery Chamber with a friend and do the session at the same time.
For those that are comparing the Artic that uses nitrogen to cool the air versus an all electric type, the indirect nitrogen type gets colder. Many people are not looking for that fight or flight response either. These types have very little downtime and can run for many more sessions at a time than the cryosaunas can. There is also no chance of getting frostbite burns with an electrical type also.
