Cryomed Pro Cryosauna
The CryoMed cryosauna goes down to -190 degrees. Not as cold as just say the Juka but it is also less expensive. The Cryomed is also wider than most cryosaunas in its price range. This is a great cryosauna for those that don't want all the added bells and whistles.

This is the latest cryosauna to hit the market. It is made by Cryo Innovations in California. This is the first cryogenic chamber to eliminate the need for defrost times. This cryosauna also had the most even cooling. This now sets the bar for all others that I will be reviewing when new models come out.
CRYOCHAMBERS
The Cryo Chambers are different than the Cryo Sauna. Cryochambers can accomodate a group of people in them. Many high traffic clinics offer group sessions. Many people go in the chamber fore they go into the main cryosauna. Cryo chambers allow the the person to go inside while the cryosaunas allow the head to stay out. The chambers do not get as cold as the cryosaunas. Most cryochambers go down to -80 degrees. Many people heat their core temperature up 3 degrees in an infrared sauna first and then go in this to dry off so they are not sweating when going in the main cryosauna. Many people do double sessions and do lymphatic exercise in the chamber for up to 5 minutes and then go back in the cryosauna. For cryosauna clinics that want to get a cryo chamber and other protocols, I can subsidize the prices to help make this affordable.
C4 Recovery is $150,000 doesn’t use nitrogen but doesn’t get to -260 like the nitrogen cryosaunas. There are 2 walk in types and this is the 2nd brand that I reviewed. I have found that the easiest way to conceptualize the cryosauna industry is by breaking it down into a tiered rating system.
About 70% of my customers end up purchasing a sauna from Tier 2 level. The rest choose Tier 1 or Tier 3. Tier 3 is composed of companies that use very confusing marketing for their brands. The reason is because 90% of those brands in this tier are actually “Re-brands” coming from the same 4 manufacturers in China. So these brands are almost identical to one another and so each company has to make up claims and marketing hype to appear different than their competition.
For this reason I have divided up Tier 2 into two sub levels, A and B. The lower the tier the more drawbacks the cryosauna has versus benefits. So Tier 2B would have maybe a limited warranty for example versus a Brand from Tier 2A.
Rating System based off the following:
Temperature ranges, Heat Exchanger, Defrost Times, Cloud Density, Grade of Materials, Offgassing (some foam bolsters have a bad smell), EMF output, Overall Fluence, Type of Nitrogen Delivery (direct vs whirlpool), Safety Features, Cold Spots, and Customer Service. If you want specific information on each brand and how it rates on each of these categories please ask.

NOTE: I tell people 98% of the health benefits of being in a cryosauna are not related to freezing the body.

Notice: Some cryosaunas do not have a 510K. These are rated as consumer devices. Having this rating sets it apart from being a consumer device vs a medical device. If it is rated as a medical 510k, then they must have a physician on staff. There is a remote possibility they could shut you down during the process while they ban the unit until it clears the FDA process. If the FDA comes out to the clinic, there's a risk they could make it a 510k or you might have to get rid of it or hire someone or shut the operation down.
8 questions to make sure you ask when buying a cryosauna
1. What is the dry out time? Is it after each session or is it every 4 hours or is it at night or when? And # of dry use hours per day? Get their answer.
2. Does it have a Direct spray injector or an exchanger. If they have to ask to find out, that's a red flag.
3. Is the Cryosauna UL Listed?
4. Does the Cryosauna have a CE Certification? These have met EU requirements.
5. What is the Psi of the crysauna. 50psi is high. 30psi is low.
6. What are the safety features of their cryosauna. The early gen types don't have them.
7. Is it a 15 or 20 amp cryosauna. 20 amp models have a more even flow and can lift heavier people.
8. Know if the cryosauna has wifi diagnostics. Many people don't know till it's too late to fix a broken component.

Juka Cryosauna
This is the cryosauna that started it all. Nearly 1 out of 3 cryo sauna clinics have this brand so it is easy to find one. I use this cryosauna as my control to compare to others. This is a direct nitrogen contact cryosauna, unlike the Cryo Artic type.

Cryosense® cryosaunas
This has cryotherapy as well as heat therapy. This can be set so that the top half and lower half can be controlled. Some people can handle lower legs much colder than the uppe body. 80% of the lypmph vessels are in the legs. Gets to -320F. Heats up to 176 degrees.
CRYO ARTIC CHAMBER
The Cryo Artic chamber does not use nitrogen in their chamber. The price is over 70,000 dollars and is popular for those looking for low maintenance or who do not want to use nitrogen on their body. Out of all the non-direct contact nitrogen models, this is my top pick.
CryoArtic cryo chamber
The most popular multiple person cryo chamber on the market. These come from Poland and their 2-3 person chamber can treat up to about 60 people in an hour. These are different than the direct nitrogen cryosaunas or even the indirect type. This type is mostly found in high volume clinics and day spas that a single person cryosauna would not be able to handle that many people in an hour. Many gyms are starting to have these just like having a steam room or heat sauna. These are also used in more and more sports teams that have these in their locker room. Many athletes use this in conjunction with the nitrogen type. I have compared this brand to several other types and this is the one that although more expensive it is way better built and has more features that the cheaper ones don't.
Starting a Cryosauna Business?
Get help knowing which insurance companies to use that specialize in cryotherapy, which size rooms are best for certain cryosauna brands, which oxygen monitor brands are the best, office preparation, which nitrogen supply companies to use, etc.

Very cheap to run compared to nitrogen. These are the most popular cryochambers in chiropractic and spas. This company makes commercial models but this is the new residential model. This is the most powerful local cryotherapy machine we have reviewed. I gets to -76° F and can deliver up to 1500 Lpm. This is a 1400 watt machine. This is the best one I have tried out to date.
